Canada offers the best quality of life in the world according to a ranking system produced by the U.S. News and World Report.<\/p>\n

\"Canada<\/p>\n

Education, health, jobs and economic stability were all strong factors for Canada in the 2016 Best Countries report.<\/p>\n

The land of the maple leaf came out second overall to Germany in the ranking system, which also takes into account factors including adventure, culture and heritage.<\/p>\n

As well as quality of life, Canada\u2019s strong suits were citizenship, business and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

The report scores 60 countries, attempting to combine qualitative characteristics with factors that drive trade, travel and investment. The U.K., the U.S. and Sweden completed the top five countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cGlobalization has expanded a country\u2019s presence beyond its physical borders, and the 2016 Best Countries rankings seek to understand a nation\u2019s worth beyond hard metrics,\u201d the report said.<\/p>\n

Under citizenship, Canada scored strongly on factors including trustworthiness, religious freedom, human rights and gender equality.<\/p>\n

The \u2018open for business\u2019 category saw Canada ranked third, based on the transparency of its government.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in ranking fifth for entrepreneurship, Canada scored highly for its legal framework, having an educated population and a good infrastructure.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t all positive, with Canada scoring poorly in the \u2018movers\u2019 category for its apparent lack of dynamism, and uniqueness, while a poor score on \u2018heritage\u2019 came down to the lack of a rich history and a poor standard of food.<\/p>\n
