{"id":126775,"date":"2023-09-12T11:59:26","date_gmt":"2023-09-12T15:59:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/quebec-issues-2433-canada-immigration-invites-in-two-expression-of-interest-draws\/"},"modified":"2023-09-12T11:59:26","modified_gmt":"2023-09-12T15:59:26","slug":"quebec-issues-2433-canada-immigration-invites-in-two-expression-of-interest-draws","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/quebec-issues-2433-canada-immigration-invites-in-two-expression-of-interest-draws\/","title":{"rendered":"Quebec Issues 2,433 Canada Immigration Invites In Two Expression Of Interest Draws"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/immigration-au-quebec-apercu\/\">Quebec immigration<\/a><\/span> has conducted two new draws through the Arrima <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/quebec-expression-of-interest\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Expression of Interest<\/span><\/a> system, issuing 2,433 Canada immigration invitations to apply.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The draws were conducted on August 24 and September 7.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The August 24 draw saw 1,000 invitations issued to candidates with a French language speaking ability of level 7 or higher on the Quebec proficiency scale, who scored 584 points or above in the <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/quebec-expression-of-interest-points-system\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Quebec Expression of Interest points system<\/span><\/a> and had skills and experience in one of a list of tech, engineering, health and education occupations:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">0213 Computer and information systems managers<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2131 Civil engineers<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2132 Mechanical engineers<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2133 Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2141 Industrial and manufacturing engineers<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2147 Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2171 Information systems analysts and consultants<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2172 Database analysts and data administrators<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2173 Software engineers and designers<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2175 Web designers and developers<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2231 Civil engineering technologists and technicians<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2232 Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2233 Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2241 Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2281 Computer network technicians<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">2282 User support technicians<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">3012 Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">3233 Licensed practical nurses<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">3413 Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">4031\u00a0Secondary school teachers<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">4032 Elementary school and kindergarten teachers<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">4214 Early childhood educators and assistants<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">5223 Graphic arts technicians<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">5225 Audio and video recording technicians<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">5241 Graphic designers and illustrators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Candidates with a job offer outside of the Montreal metropolitan area were also targeted. There was no minimum score for these candidates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The September 7 draw saw 1,433 invitations issued to candidates with a French language speaking ability of level 7 or higher on the Quebec proficiency scale, who scored 586 points or above in the <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/quebec-expression-of-interest-points-system\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Quebec Expression of Expression of Interest Work?<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Candidates submit an online expression of interest profile via Arrima.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Profiles enter into an Expression of Interest pool, where they are ranked against each other using a <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/quebec-expression-of-interest-points-system\/\"><span class=\"s1\">points system<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and are valid for 12-months.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">The highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for a Quebec Certificate of Selection under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program via periodic draws.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Candidates receiving an invitation have 60 days to submit a full application.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Approved candidates who receive a nomination certificate (CSQ) may then apply to the federal government for Canadian permanent residence.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Quebec Expression of Interest Points System<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/quebec-expression-of-interest\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Quebec Expression of Interest<\/span><\/a>\u00a0points system is used to rank profiles submitted via Arrima to the Expression of Interest bank, with the highest-ranked profiles invited to apply for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/immigration-au-quebec-apercu\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Quebec immigration<\/span><\/a>\u00a0under the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/immigration-des-travailleurs-qualifies-au-quebec\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Quebec Skilled Worker Program<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Candidates and their spouse or common-law partner can score up to 1,320 points based on human capital and Quebec labour market factors.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">What Are the Requirements for Quebec Expression of Interest?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Quebec Expression of Interest points system involves points in two categories, with some including points for the spouse of common law partner of the principal
