Canadian immigration officers will judge temporary foreign worker applicant\u2019s language skills against this requirement when reviewing a temporary work permit application. Officers will also assess an applicant\u2019s language skills by taking into account:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The specific work conditions of the applicant\u2019s potential job<\/li>\n<li>Any arrangements that the applicant\u2019s potential employer has made or will make to accommodate weaknesses in the worker\u2019s language skills<\/li>\n<li>The terms of the job offer<\/li>\n<li>The requirements set out in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) description for the worker\u2019s potential job<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Read more<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/inc\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Language-Benchmarks.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Language Ability In Canada Immigration Applications<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">When assessing language skills, a worker\u2019s ability to communicate in English or French with general members of the Canadian public will not be considered.
