{"id":12411,"date":"2015-04-09T15:34:51","date_gmt":"2015-04-09T15:34:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigrationca.staging.wpengine.com\/fr\/appendix-b-a40\/"},"modified":"2021-05-16T22:58:49","modified_gmt":"2021-05-17T02:58:49","slug":"appendix-b-a40","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/appendix-b-a40\/","title":{"rendered":"Appendix B \u2013 A40"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Appendix B \u2013 A40 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A permanent resident or a foreign national becomes inadmissible for misrepresentation if the individual:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Directly or indirectly misrepresents or withholds material facts concerning a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of the <em>Immigration and Refugee Protection Act <\/em>(IRPA)<\/li>\n<li>Has been sponsored by a person the authorities consider as inadmissible for misrepresentation<\/li>\n<li>Receives a final determination for vacating a decision that allows the individual\u2019s claim for refugee protection or application for protection or,<\/li>\n<li>Ceases to be a citizen under paragraph 10 (1) (a) of the <em>Citizenship Act<\/em>, in the circumstances specified in subsection 10 (2) of the <em>Citizenship Act<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the authorities deem a person inadmissible for misrepresentation, the permanent resident or the foreign national continues to remain inadmissible for misrepresentation.
