{"id":12405,"date":"2015-03-17T20:25:24","date_gmt":"2015-03-17T20:25:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigrationca.staging.wpengine.com\/fr\/the-designated-language-testing-agencies\/"},"modified":"2021-05-16T23:11:13","modified_gmt":"2021-05-17T03:11:13","slug":"the-designated-language-testing-agencies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/the-designated-language-testing-agencies\/","title":{"rendered":"The Designated Language Testing Agencies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Appendix C \u2013 The Designated Language Testing Agencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This section applies to applicants from the:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Canadian Experience Class (CEC)<\/li>\n<li>Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) Class<\/li>\n<li>Federal Skilled Trades (FST) Class<\/li>\n<li>Provincial Nominee Class<\/li>\n<li>Caring for Children Class<\/li>\n<li>Caring for People with High Medical Needs Class and,<\/li>\n<li>Immigrant Investor Venture Capital Class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The English Language Testing Agencies<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Paragon Testing Enterprises Inc., University of British Columbia administers the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP).\u00a0 This program has two tests, namely:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) \u2013 General (CELPIP-G) and,<\/li>\n<li>The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) \u2013 Academic (CELPIP-A)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is worth noting that Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) only accept the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) \u2013 General (CELPIP-G) test results.<\/p>\n<p>Cambridge ESOL, IDP Australia and the British Council administer the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) offers options, such as:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>General Training and,<\/li>\n<li>Academic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is worth noting that Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) only accept the General Training test results.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The French Language Testing Agencies<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry administers the Test d\u2019\u00e9valuation de Fran\u00e7ais (TEF).<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that for meeting the requirements prescribed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), applicants would need to submit results for the following Test d\u2019\u00e9valuation de Fran\u00e7ais (TEF) modules:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Compr\u00e9hension \u00e9crite (reading)<\/li>\n<li>Compr\u00e9hension orale (listening)<\/li>\n<li>Expression \u00e9crite (writing) and,<\/li>\n<li>Expression orale (speaking)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Test candidates could also take the Lexique et structure (grammar and structure) test. This test would typically form a part of the reading and listening modules.
