{"id":123388,"date":"2023-07-18T12:36:51","date_gmt":"2023-07-18T16:36:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/new-brunswick-express-entry-draws-province-issued-121-invitations-to-apply-in-june\/"},"modified":"2023-07-18T12:45:01","modified_gmt":"2023-07-18T16:45:01","slug":"new-brunswick-express-entry-draws-province-issued-121-invitations-to-apply-in-june","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/new-brunswick-express-entry-draws-province-issued-121-invitations-to-apply-in-june\/","title":{"rendered":"New\u00a0Brunswick Express Entry Draws: Province\u00a0Issued 121 Invitations To Apply In June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New\u00a0Brunswick\u00a0issued 121 Canada immigration\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/invitations-apply-permanent-residence-itas\/\">Invitations to Apply<\/a>\u00a0(ITA) during June, bringing the total sent out this year to 630.<\/p>\n<p>The province\u00a0issued 29 ITAs through its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/canada-express-entry-immigration\/\">Express Entry<\/a>\u00a0Occupations In Demand Connection, 28 through its New Brunswick Employment Connection and 64 through its New Brunswick Student Connection.<\/p>\n<p>So far this year, the province has sent out 250 ITAs through the NB Employment Connection, 194 through NB Student Connection, and 186 through NB Occupations In Demand.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b>Read More<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/new-brunswick-issued-93-invitations-to-apply-in-express-entry-draws-in-may\/\">New\u00a0Brunswick\u00a0Issued 93 Invitations To Apply In Express Entry Draws\u00a0In May<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/quebec-and-new-brunswick-cancel-cbsa-contracts-to-detain-immigrants-in-provincial-jails\/\">Quebec and New Brunswick Cancel CBSA\u00a0Contracts To Detain Immigrants In Provincial Jails<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/new-brunswick-immigration-stops-invitations-for-restaurant-workers-for-rest-of-year\/\">New\u00a0Brunswick\u00a0Immigration Stops Invitations For Restaurant Workers For Rest Of Year<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Since the start of February,\u00a0New\u00a0Brunswick\u00a0has stopped accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) through its EC program for four categories of workers, those with the\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/canadas-overhaul-of-national-occupational-classification-system-has-major-implications-for-immigration\/\">National\u00a0Occupational Classification<\/a>\u00a0(NOC) codes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>62010 \u2013 Retail sales supervisors<\/li>\n<li>60030 \u2013 Restaurant and food service managers<\/li>\n<li>62020 \u2013 Food service supervisors<\/li>\n<li>63200 \u2013 Cooks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those workers can still apply, though, through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/atlantic-immigration-pilot\/\">Atlantic\u00a0Immigration\u00a0Program<\/a>\u00a0(AIP) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/immigration-nouveau-brunswick\/\">New\u00a0Brunswick\u00a0Provincial Nominee Program<\/a>\u00a0(NBPNP) Skilled Worker stream.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants under the EC must meet the minimum work experience, language proficiency, and educational requirements and demonstrate proof of sufficient funds.<\/p>\n<p>Under that program, the work requirement is at least one year of full-time paid work (1,560 hours total) or an equal amount of part-time work. That work experience must be in the NOC TEER categories 0, 1, 2 or 3 and must be in the same type of job as indicated on the\u00a0immigration\u00a0application.<\/p>\n<p><b>NB Express Entry Applicants Must Pass A Valid Language Test In French Or English<\/b><\/p>\n<p>All applicants submitting an application through that NB Express Entry stream must also have a valid language test in English or French, administered by an agency designated by\u00a0Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).<\/p>\n<p>That language test must be less than 18 months old at the time the application is submitted to the province of\u00a0New\u00a0Brunswick\u00a0and the applicant must have obtained a minimum score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for English or Niveaux de comp\u00e9tence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) 7 for French.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants who have not graduated from a Canadian educational institution must also provide a copy of an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/get-educational-credential-assessment-eca\/\">Educational Credential Assessment<\/a>\u00a0completed by a designated organization.<\/p>\n<p>Settlement funds are not required for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/open-work-permit-in-canada\/\">open work permit<\/a>\u00a0holders with a minimum one-year work experience in TEER 0,1, 2, or 3 occupations in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Through the OIDC program, applicants are issued a Letter of Interest (LOI) from the federal Express Entry system and must have a valid Express Entry profile.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b>Watch<\/b><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1Ly69XLsj0A\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Upon receiving that LOI, the applicant can create an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/the-expression-of-interest\/\">Expression of Interest<\/a>\u00a0(EOI) in the INB Portal, the province\u2019s\u00a0immigration\u00a0portal, and has 45 days from the date of receiving the LOI to do that.<\/p>\n<p>The minimum work experience required under the OIDC is at least one year of full-time paid work (1,560 hours total) or an equal amount of part-time work in occupations with NOC codes in the 0,1,2, or 3 categories.<\/p>\n<p>That work experience can be in Canada or abroad but must be paid work and in the same occupation as used on the\u00a0immigration\u00a0application.<\/p>\n<p>Since this is an NB Express Entry stream application, it must also meet the language and educational requirements and the applicant must demonstrate that he or she intends to live in\u00a0New\u00a0Brunswick\u00a0and have sufficient funds to do so.<\/p>\n<h3>NB Student Connection Applicants Do Not Need A Valid Job Offer<\/h3>\n<p>Settlement funds are not required for open work permit holders with a minimum one-year work experience in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Those applying through the NB Student Connection program do not need to have a job offer but must have completed their studies within the last six months in a program that qualifies for a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/post-graduation-work-permit\/\">Post-Graduate Work Permit<\/a>\u00a0(PGWP), be living in the province, and actively looking for work.<\/p>\n<p>Graduate students in thesis-based programs can apply once that school work has been officially submitted for an evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>The grads applying through this program must also meet the same work experience and language proficiency requirements as for the other two programs and intend to live in\u00a0New\u00a0Brunswick.<\/p>\n<p>They do not, however, have to demonstrate proof of funds provided they are already open work permit holders and have the required work experience.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants under this program provide a copy of at least two of the following documents showing successful completion of a PGWP-eligible program of study in\u00a0New\u00a0Brunswick\u00a0within the past six months:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>final transcripts;<\/li>\n<li>diploma or certificate, or<\/li>\n<li>a letter of completion from the institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those who have completed their education in Canada do not need to provide\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/get-educational-credential-assessment-eca\/\">Educational Credential Assessments<\/a>\u00a0(ECA) but post-grads applying at the point of the submission of their thesis do need to provide such an ECA by a designated organization.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New\u00a0Brunswick\u00a0issued 121 Canada immigration\u00a0Invitations to Apply\u00a0(ITA) during June, bringing the total sent out this year to 630.
