Banks, credit unions and other financial services companies and information technology firms top a list produced by the news arm of the professional social media networking site LinkedIn of the 25 best workplaces to grow a career in Canada<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year continues to bring waves of disruption in the labour market – from advancements in AI to the rise of the \u2018quiet\u2019 trend (quiet quitting, quiet hiring, quiet firing),\u201d reports LinkedIn News.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThough conditions in the job market remain strong, economic uncertainty, inflation and news of layoffs persist – prompting many professionals to seek their best next career move and employers to rethink how they attract, retain and develop talent.\u201d<\/p>\n

The social media networking\u2019s list of the top 25 best places to work automatically cuts off any company that has either laid off 10 per cent or more of its staff in 2022 or lost an equal amount of its workers through attrition during that time period.<\/p>\n

The list is based on LinkedIn\u2019s assessment of how employees are advancing both within these companies which must have a minimum of 500 employees in Canada as well as after they leave, how they\u2019ve upskilled while working there, and how these companies set up people to be able to advance in their careers.<\/p>\n
