{"id":119061,"date":"2023-04-19T18:19:19","date_gmt":"2023-04-19T22:19:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/senior-and-middle-management-jobs-a-popular-route-to-canada-permanent-residence\/"},"modified":"2023-04-19T18:19:19","modified_gmt":"2023-04-19T22:19:19","slug":"senior-and-middle-management-jobs-a-popular-route-to-canada-permanent-residence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/senior-and-middle-management-jobs-a-popular-route-to-canada-permanent-residence\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior And Middle Management Jobs A Popular Route To Canada Permanent Residence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Canadian businesses recruited more senior and middle managers, administrative staff and other professionals through the <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/canada-express-entry-immigration\/\">Express Entry system<\/a> last year than they did before the pandemic, the latest data reveals.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, 21,530 foreign nationals became new permanent residents of Canada through the Express Entry system to fill those kinds of positions, up from 22,015 new permanent residents in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>As COVID-19 led to travel and public health restrictions in 2020, only 13,820 foreign nationals were able to get their permanent residency by filling such jobs.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>But as those restrictions were relaxed and immigration soared to record-breaking heights in 2021, so did the number of business people able to take jobs in Canada through Express Entry immigration. In 2021, IRCC data shows 32,645 new permanent residents settled here through Express Entry after landing those kinds of jobs.<\/p>\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/canadas-overhaul-of-national-occupational-classification-system-has-major-implications-for-immigration\/\">National Occupational Classification<\/a> (NOC) system, these occupations come with the following codes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior government managers and officials \u2013 (NOC) 00011<\/li>\n<li>Senior managers &#8211; financial, communications and other business services \u2013 (NOC) 00012<\/li>\n<li>Senior managers &#8211; health, education, social and community services and membership organizations &#8211; (NOC) 00013<\/li>\n<li>Senior managers &#8211; The country is to welcome 485,000 new permanent residents in 2024 and another 500,000 in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a total of 1.45 million immigrants to Canada over the coming three years.<\/p>\n<h3>Express Entry Programs<\/h3>\n<p>Foreign nationals who want to immigrate to Canada can do so through one the three\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/how-express-entry-works\/\">Express Entry system<\/a>\u00a0programs and apply for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/guidelines-issuing-permanent-resident-visas-foreign-nationals\/\">permanent residency<\/a>\u00a0online if they meet the eligibility criteria.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Those three Express Entry programs are the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/requirements-federal-skilled-worker-program\/\">Federal Skilled Worker Program<\/a>\u00a0(FSW), the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/requirements-federal-skilled-trades-program\/\">Federal Skilled Trades Program<\/a>\u00a0(FST) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/requirements-canada-experience-class-program\/\">Canada Experience Class Program<\/a>\u00a0(CEC).<\/p>\n<p>There are also participating provincial immigration programs which use the Express Entry system.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b>If you are a candidate looking for a Canada job, or an employer looking to recruit foreign talent from abroad, immigration.ca can help.
