Ontario has conducted a new Expression of Interest<\/a> draw, issuing 725 Canada immigration invitations through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program<\/a> Masters Graduate stream.<\/p>\n

To qualify for the December 21 draw, candidates required a score of 46 or above and needed to have submitted their profile within the last month.<\/p>\n

Ontario Expression of Interest Ranking System<\/h3>\n

Points are awarded based on the following attributes:<\/p>\n

  1. Level and field of education and where they completed their studies.<\/li>\n
  2. Proficiency in English or French.<\/li>\n
  3. Intention to settle outside of the Greater Toronto Area.<\/li>\n
  4. Skill and work experience level, earnings history, other factors relevant to prospects in Ontario job market.<\/li>\n
  5. Labour market needs in the province or region of the province.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Masters Graduate Stream<\/h3>\n

    This stream offers an opportunity to obtain permanent residence to international students who obtained a masters degree in Ontario without requiring a job offer.<\/p>\n
