(Twelfth draw in 2016 with Comprehensive Ranking Score under 500)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"2016June 15th<\/sup>\u00a02016 – Canadian Immigration authorities conducted the 13th<\/sup>\u00a0round of invitations under Express Entry in 2016 and 36th<\/sup>\u00a0overall, inviting 752 applicants for permanent residence. \u00a0 It was the lowest number of invitations issued this year. The lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was 488 a slight increase from the previous two draws.\u00a0 It was the 12th<\/sup>\u00a0draw in 2016 under the\u00a0Express Entry System<\/a>\u00a0where the lowest CRS score was under 500.<\/p>\n

Express Entry is an immigration system implemented by Canadian immigration authorities (\u00ab\u00a0CIC\u00a0\u00bb) on January 1, 2015 which manages skilled worker applications under Federal Economic programs. This includes the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Skilled Trades Program the Canada Experience Class and certain parts of the Provincial Nominee Program.<\/p>\n

Stakeholders expect to see future CRS scores well below\u00a0500<\/strong>\u00a0this year to enable Canadian immigration authorities to meet targeted annual immigration levels for 2016.<\/p>\n

Employers are encouraged to consider securing an LMIA or nomination under provincial nomination programs (PNP\u2019s) to ensure long term retention of employees.<\/p>\n

It is expected that the majority of applicants to be issued (ITA\u2019s) under Canada\u2019s Express Entry Immigration system in 2016 will require a CRS scores under\u00a0500<\/strong>\u00a0points, enabling a significant number of applicants to receive permanent admission to Canada without a job offer or nomination under a provincial immigration program.\u00a0 However, securing an approved offer of employment is highly recommended.<\/p>\n
