Ontario has conducted two new Expression of Interest<\/a> draws, issuing 641 Canada immigration invitations through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program<\/a> Masters Graduate and Ph.D. Graduate streams.<\/p>\n

The draws were conducted on October 25, 2022.<\/p>\n

For the Masters Graduate draw, 535 candidates were invited, requiring a score of 35 or above.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Ph.D. Graduates draw, the minimum score was 24 and 106 invitations were issued.<\/p>\n

For both draws, candidates needed to have submitted their profile within the last 12 months.<\/p>\n

Ontario Expression of Interest Ranking System<\/h3>\n

Points are awarded based on the following attributes:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Level and field of education and where they completed their studies.<\/li>\n
  2. Proficiency in English or French.<\/li>\n
  3. Intention to settle outside of the Greater Toronto Area.<\/li>\n
  4. Skill and work experience level, earnings history, and other factors relevant to prospects in the Ontario job market.<\/li>\n
  5. Labour market needs in the province or region of the province.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Masters Graduate Stream<\/h3>\n

    This stream offers an opportunity to obtain permanent residence to international students who obtained a masters degree in Ontario without requiring a job offer.<\/p>\n

    To be eligible to apply, a candidate must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n
