{"id":10537,"date":"2016-09-07T20:47:56","date_gmt":"2016-09-07T20:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigrationca.staging.wpengine.com\/fr\/?p=10537"},"modified":"2016-09-07T20:47:56","modified_gmt":"2016-09-07T20:47:56","slug":"exports-grow-every-canadian-province-report-predicts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/exports-grow-every-canadian-province-report-predicts\/","title":{"rendered":"Exports to Grow in Every Canadian Province, Report Predicts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A new report predicts every Canadian province will see exports grow at various rates by the end of 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-7469 \" src=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/shutterstock_124432657-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Exports to Grow in Every Canadian Province, Report Predicts\" width=\"266\" height=\"177\" srcset=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/shutterstock_124432657-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/immigration.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/shutterstock_124432657-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/immigration.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/shutterstock_124432657-280x187.jpg 280w, https:\/\/immigration.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/shutterstock_124432657.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 266px) 100vw, 266px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Export Development Canada says that while some provinces may see a drop for 2016, they will all return to growth by the end of the following year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Global Export Forecast predicts a favourable economic climate in the US will boost Canadian coffers, with Americans buying everything from French fries in Prince Edward Island to vehicles in Ontario.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHigher US demand and a much weaker Canadian dollar are sparking Canadian sales in a large number of key industries,\u201d said Peter Hall, EDC\u2019s chief economist.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cCanadian exports will see more tangible benefits of our depreciated dollar starting immediately and continuing through the near-term period.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">PEI is set to lead the export growth, with a total gain of 13 per cent by the end of 2017. French fries, lobster and pharmaceuticals will be key products in the US and Asian markets, the report suggests.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nova Scotia, Quebec and Ontario are also set to see solid growth in both 2016 and 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Car tires and seafood are expected to drive Nova Scotia\u2019s advance, while the aerospace sector is key to Quebec and fastest growth is reserved for auto sector and consumer-based exports \u2013 they are carrying the most rapid growth into 2016, and have a very promising outlook.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Manitoba is next on the list, with EDC projections suggesting a 9 per cent boost, driven by sales of pork meat, live pigs and manufactured goods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">British Columbia should see a more modest 7 per cent growth due to deceleration in the Chinese market and the weakness of global commodity prices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Newfoundland it\u2019s a different story, with exports set to shrink by 11 per cent in 2016, before rebounding 18 per cent in 2017, mainly linked to a projected commodity price recovery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It\u2019s a similar trend in Alberta, where a 10 per cent reduction in 2016 exports is expected to be followed by a 14 per cent boost in 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Saskatchewan (5 per cent) and New Brunswick (3 per cent) are both expected to see modest growth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Interested
