Sometimes the\u00a0business\u00a0owners have to submit a detailed\u00a0business\u00a0plan. Other times, the fledgling entrepreneurs must make an in-person presentation of their\u00a0business\u00a0concept.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A designated\u00a0angel\u00a0investor\u00a0group must invest at least $75,000 into the qualifying business. Candidates can also qualify with two or more investments from\u00a0angel\u00a0investor\u00a0groups totaling $75,000.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Venture Capital Funds Must Invest At Least $200,000<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">A designated venture capital fund must confirm that it is investing at least $200,000 into the qualifying business. Candidates can also qualify with two or more commitments from designated venture capital funds totalling $200,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A designated business incubator must accept the applicant into its business incubator program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It is up to the immigrant\u00a0investor\u00a0to develop a viable business plan that will meet the due diligence requirements of these government-approved designated entities.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Watch Video<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/A-C5p6NuTws?si=9KhLQAnaXwDdfzS8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cIf you reach an agreement with a designated organization, it will send you a letter of support. You need to include this letter when you submit your application to us,\u201d notes Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on its website. \u201cThis is the proof you need to show that the venture capital fund,\u00a0angel\u00a0investor\u00a0group, or business incubator is supporting your business idea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cThe organization will also send a commitment certificate directly to us. We\u2019ll use both your letter of support and the organization&rsquo;s commitment certificate to assess your application.
