It has currently issued 3,877.<\/p>\n<p>The province also has 1,150 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 400 expression of interest applications in the Alberta Express Entry pool.<\/p>\n<h3>High Number of Applications<\/h3>\n<p>Alberta says a high number of AAIP applications have been received in the following occupations, meaning they may take longer to process:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6311 \u2013 Food service supervisors<\/li>\n<li>6211 \u2013 Retail sales supervisor<\/li>\n<li>1241 \u2013 Administrative assistants<\/li>\n<li>6322 \u2013 Cooks<\/li>\n<li>7511 \u2013 Transport truck drivers<\/li>\n<li>1221 \u2013 Administrative officers<\/li>\n<li>4214 \u2013 Early childhood educators and assistants<\/li>\n<li>0621 \u2013 Retail and wholesale trade managers<\/li>\n<li>1311 \u2013 Accounting technicians and bookkeepers<\/li>\n<li>0631 \u2013 Restaurant and food service managers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>What are the Requirements for Alberta Express Entry?<\/h3>\n<p>In order to be eligible to receive a notification of interest, candidates must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have an active Express Entry profile in the federal Express Entry pool.<\/li>\n<li>Have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to Alberta.<\/li>\n<li>Be working in an occupation that supports Alberta\u2019s economic development and diversification.<\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 300 points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Factors that may improve a candidate\u2019s chances of receiving a notification of interest:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A job offer from an Albertan employer and\/or work experience in Alberta.<\/li>\n<li>Having graduated from a Canadian post-secondary institution.<\/li>\n<li>Having a relative that is living in Alberta: parent, child and\/or sibling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Factors that decrease a candidate\u2019s chances of receiving a notification of interest:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Express Entry profile expires within the next 3 months<\/li>\n<li>You work in an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/fr\/alberta-immigration-ineligible-occupations\">ineligible occupation<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alberta has announced the details of a new draw through the Express Entry-linked stream of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.
